Pupil of The Year 2015/16
We are changing our 'Pupil of the Year' scheme with entries being allowed between now and the end of 2016. Primavolta is 10 years old in 2016 and to celebrate the prize will be 10 free 30 minute music lessons for the winner.
How to enter? Complete your 'Playing Diary' (see below). Points are to be allocated for every time you practice. Extra nominated points will be added to the overall total for the following. This can be added and signed by a teacher in the achievements section of the diary -
1 point - for practice
2 bonus points - for playing every day of the week
10 points - music exam - distinction
8 points - music exam - merit
5 points - music exam result - pass
5 points - for writing your own song and writing it down/use a notation computer programme to display it
5 points - performing in a concert at school, college, for charity.....anywhere!
10 points - for winning 'Pupil of the Month' after being nominated by your teacher.
(Above) - Complete this fully each week. When it is finished, post to us at Primavolta Mobile Music Tuition, 5 Palatine Close, Staining, Blackpool, Lancashire, FY30EG. Your playing diary will be judged and results announced in January 2017. Closing date for entries is 20th December 2016 to allow for Christmas posting.

Overall Primavolta Pupil of the year for 2013 is Lauren Dunn (photo below) from Poulton, Lancashire! With an excellent record of regular practice each week and achievement in music examinations, Lauren has worked really hard to be the 3rd winner of this prize. Pupil of the Year 2012 -
Overall Primavolta Pupil of the year for 2012 is Jacob Dobson (photo above) from Kirkham! With an outstanding 65 points, beating the total from 2011, Jacob has worked really hard to be the 2nd winner of this prize. Your ipod Shuffle is on it’s way and a photo will be added to this page once you have received your goody!
Pupil of the Year 2012 at Newton Bluecoat School is also Jacob Dobson. To win overall pupil of the year and have lessons in school shows how hard he continued to work during school holidays. The progress made after the summer holiday alone was as if he had had a lesson each week.
Pupil of the Year 2012 at Copp School is Gina Penswick who collected most points at the school. Gina switched to piano last year from Keyboard and has never looked back, also winning pupil of the month during the course of 2012. The prize is well earned.

Pupil of the Year 2011 at Newton Bluecoat School is Jacob Dobson. This scheme has really encouraged Jacob to work hard and has made a massive difference to his performance. Jacob also won pupil of the month during the course of the year. Well done Jacob and keep it up!
Pupil of the Year 2011 at Copp School is Isobel Jenkinson who collected most points at the school. Isobel has worked hard all year, always bringing in her playing log and playing on her Keyboard at home. Enjoy your prize Isobel and good luck for the next year!
