Charity Music Concert 2012

Our first charity music night was held on 23rd February 2012 at Copp C.E. School, Great Eccleston.

The evening raised over £900 for Brian House Children's Hospice in Blackpool!

Primavolta had for some time been keen on launching an annual charity concert.  This was held for the first time in February 2012.

The event was held at Copp C of E Primary School in Great Eccleston thanks to the kind support of Mrs Melvin, Headteacher at the school.

The concert had 2 clear aims -

To raise money for Brian House in Blackpool by sponsorship, ticket entry to the event, cake and refreshments and a raffle with prizes kindly donated by local named businesses.

To give students at Primavolta the opportunity to perform examples of what they have been learning in front of an audience.

The feedback from the evening has been really positive and people really enjoyed the opportunity to show off their talents to a large audience.  The money raised for charity was also really impressive.  Well done to everyone involved in the evening.

We will post information on our proposed 2nd charity music night here in due course.  We hope to arrange the concert for early 2013.
